I grew up a Nike Peagasus wearer and stepped away for years after finding ASICS and then Brooks as my favorite running shoes. I figured I would give the Pegasus another go for casual shoes and was slightly disappointed. I wear a D in all shoes I purchase and did so with these. From the start there is an uncomfortable rubbing on both sides of my sole indicating these are more narrow near the footed. It's almost better to wear without socks for casual outings as I don't want more room taking up the shoe and rubbing more than it does. Nike doesn't make them as good as they used to.

I generally like the Pegasus Air Zoom line. A fresh pair of shoes also helps prevent plantar fascists. The one thing I don't like about the new design is the pointed heel on the sole. It actually creates holes in my car carpet matts quicker than a rounded heel.

I double-checked the listing both times to make sure I wasn't looking at something wrong. Hard to believe this isn't being done on purpose.
