How to Refill Your Lighter

1.Choose the Right Butane Can, Refillable with LONG UNIVERSAL REFILL TIP Butane Canister.
2.Bleed the Lighter, Push on the Lighter Refill Valve with a Screwdriver to Let Out the Air Inside until no Hissing Sound is Heard. Air inside the Fuel Tank Prevents bButane from Being Injected into the Tank and Cause the Lighter to Malfunctions.
3.Injecting the Butane, Hold the Lighter and the Butane Can in an Vertical upside-down Position, Press the Stem of the Butane Can into the Refill Valve in 3-second Bursts to Inject the Butane. It is Normal for a Small Amount to Spray around the Edges of the Valve.
4.Before Igniting the Lighter, Please wait 3-4 Minutes, this Allow the Excess Butane to Evaporate and Gas Inside Lighter to Reach Room Temperature.

We live in one of those communities that goes all out at Christmas time, and we have to light over 50 luminaries each night for several weeks around Christmas time. Needless to say, we've gone through numerous lighters over the years, and the regular long neck ones you find don't last long, are hard to refill (if they even can be refilled), and are expensive. Then we found these! Everyone one in the pack lit on the first time, was easy to fill, and has a strong, intense wind-resistant flame. They fit well in the hand and are easy to light (usually on the first pull of the trigger). I think these will last us many, many years, and I highly recommend them!

There’s not much you can say that hasn’t already been said about butane lighters, but let’s see what we can do. Do you need a lighter that’ll stand up to the cruel north wind in your honor? Do you need a lighter that doesn’t eat butane like a 2001 Hummer eats gas? Do you want a partner to make crème brûlée with you at 2 am (but they don’t do it perfectly, but it still tastes alright, so you eat it anyway?) Well, buddy, do I have the lighter for you. 4, in fact, and they don’t mind sharing.

In all seriousness, these are fantastic lighters. I’ve had these for over a month, and they strike every time; they don’t guzzle butane, and the four-pack is a steal considering what you’ll pay for one at the gas station and these seem so much more durable without adding unnecessary weight and heft making them feel “lighter” than the others (yeah I did it I’m not ashamed). So clearly, five stars for these. They are an excellent investment no matter what your flame needs may be. Just make sure to invite me to the wedding ;)
