Almost Perfect CPU Cooler
CPU:i9-14900Work: video upscaling, editing & rendering.I’ve 2 coolers B4 this one.The 1st one is an Amazon Basic. It is a very good design. See pic how it bends the heat pipes backwards to make rooms for MATX motherboards; however it’s too tiny & the CPU constantly stay at 90+C.The 2nd one is a Cooler Master (my favourite brand). Hyper620s. It is way too big for my motherboard. It also came DOA or used.This Hyper 212 is also a Cooler Master. The heatsink cooler is slim but it’s 25 % bigger in cubic mm. The 120mm fan has more air flow that the Amazon one.So since it came with 2 pairs of fan locking anchors, I’ve add an extra fan. The Cooler Master at the back & the white LED Thermaltake at the front (see video)Result: CPU working temperature is now capped at 85C.

Style: 212 Spectrum V3Verified Purchase
I was running a Ryzen 5600x on B550 motherboard and the stock wraith stealth prism for cooling. My computer case has excellent airflow and was still pulling mid 70c under gaming loads of 30-60% sustained. If you’re like me and upgrading to anything else from the wraith stealth prism you will immediately notice just how much bigger it is. The cooler master 212 is no exception it is monstrous compared to the wraith cooler. The copper heat pipes have been exposed on the cold plate and directly touches the cpu when mounted making it very efficient at rerouting the heat. The fan works as intended and mounting it was very easy.
Granted I used Arctic Mx 4 for thermal paste instead of the one provided, but I am now barely reaching 45-55 C under gaming loads and I haven’t even overclocked and enabled PBO yet. My results are very very satisfactory and I recommend anyone with a wraith stealth cooler to switch ASAP

This cooler is doing a great job on my oc i7 noise levels are low and on fullload it’s still quiet enough to enjoy playing .. looks great too very close to ram but overall turnout great this is on a nr200 case
