These were received in two days from order. I ordered two for my mid-high hiking boots and two for my higher boots. The product is well made with solid wood and metal shaft and workings. The handle is plastic, but just take a little care when tightening. I paid more for a good, solid stretcher as they will have to withstand some heavy pressure. Plastic would never do.
The results in the first 8 hours were remarkable. I broke one foot one year the the other the next. I set the first myself, but the second resulted in some crooked toes which are making the toe box too tight. The shoes and boots are too expensive to get rid of and this was a better solution. I didn't use the spray they recommend, but instead used Meguire's Leather cream to soften the leather. I like this cream on my hiking boots because it cleans and protects the leather. Worked perfectly. I will probably reapply cream and stretch for, maybe a couple of days, to get them where I want them.

This is a blessing 'cause if I can't walk without discomfort, I'm done. I like to camp and hike in the winter. I will surely be ready by then.

Solid and sturdy.
Very good quality and sturdy, these will last a very long time as long as they are given proper care. I bought two shoe stretchers because I wanted to stretch both shoes at once. I should have bought the women's shoe stretcher but I bought the men's medium size because the prior cheap pair I bought in the store were not able to stretch my shoes how I wanted. I bought side way expandable stretchers which did not work and were cheaply made, a waste of money. I wear a size 10 XX-Wide in Women's shoes because my feet swell so much, sometimes I can't find shoes I like that fit comfortably. These shoe stretchers were a little too long, so I had to work them into my shoes for about 5 minutes. Buy the correct size for your shoes. Nice packaging to keep the stretchers in, it comes with a user manual which was helpful and stainless steel bunion stretchers which helped in stretching my shoes near the toes. I did not buy the spray for the shoe stretch, I didn't think I would need it but I did need it, so I improvised and used Olive Oil to coat my shoes for the stretch. I think I made a good investment with this product, they will last a long time with the proper care.
