Not perfect, I still have sore feet at the end of the day, but they are better than most shoes I have tried. I walk on concrete all day, so it's hard to find a comfortable shoe. I only had mild soreness from break in the first day, so that's pretty good, some shoes take much longer to break in. Skechers have become my shoe of choice for several years now. The shape ups do take a little getting used to because of the arch, but after a few days, I barely notice it anymore except when I am on a ladder. Do to the abuse my feet suffer and being 50 years old, I don't think there is a shoe that will cause my feet to not be sore at the end of the day, but these are the best I've had so far. Oh, and in my case, I didn't find these to be too small as many reviews mentioned. I bought the same size I usually do and they fit fine.

Update 9-2-16. After wearing these shoes daily for about 5 months now they show very little wear. I have only moderately sore feet at the end of the day, so they have gotten even better. My feet feel better than they have with any other shoes I've used for work. Also I don't even notice the arch anymore, not even on a ladder. I will without a doubt be buying these shoes again.
5-21-17 I had to post another update. These shoes are a small miracle, 13 months of daily use and still hardly any wear and comfortable, I would normally have gone through 3 pair by now of any other shoes. My feet have never felt better.

Amazon was amazing as well as they arrived here in Queensland, Australia nearly a week early on the basic rate of shipping. Kudos there. I have had previously the White ones in this range but my funky cat decided to scratch out and eat some of the heel support. Go figure! The new inner soles are better than the earlier ones but unfortunately not good enough for my feet, knees, lower back, yada, yada, yada. So I got some fantastic Dr Scholl's Massaging Gel Supports which I am about to write a rave review on shortly. I first came across them when I visited the States back in '09 and just love them. Unfortunately we don't seem to have these supports of this quality at this price in Australia. Such is life and thank goodness for online shopping!

When I bought my first pair 6 months ago, I ordered them a half size larger than I normally wear, based on the comments of others who had purchased them. They fit perfectly that time and I still wear them all day, at least 6 days a week. I recently ordered another pair - same model, same size, but they were way too small. So, it seems like consistency in sizing is an issue. Don't really know what size to try next! I love the shoes, but will try to find a local store, where I can try them on first.

At first, I didn't like this shoe because the Arch was too big, but the shoe simply had to be worn in. It took a couple of weeks, and it became really comfortable. My foot doesn't usually adapt well to shoes that are uncomfortable, but this was different somehow. I really like this shoe now.

I have stage 4 heel fractures in each foot, which I need a special shoe to keep the position of my foot properly balanced. This is an inexpensive alternative to the $250-300 price range that I see for the shoe that I need, and is slightly more comfortable believe it or not. Sketchers are a God-send.

I was born with deformities and have had multiple corrective surgeries beginning in childhood. These shoes are a Godsend. Your Mileage May Vary, but my doctor (at a teaching hospital) showed these to the interns as examples of what types of shoes should be purchased and worn by people such as myself. I pray that these shoes will remain available for many years to come. Without these shoes my life would be considerably altered by the excessive pain that these shoes help to alleviate. they have a high insole and the "rocker" effect of these shoes helps to separate the bones in my instep which helps to alleviate some of the arthritic pain that I experience.

I am thoroughly disappointed in these shoes. I have always worn the original shape-up shoes and loved them. They were the most comfortable shoes ever and having back injuries they actually help to relieve the stress and pain in my back. These new shoes are in no way even close to the originals and actually cause more back pain than they relieve. I promise I would not wear them if they were to send me a pair for free.

(bad pun) but I recommend these for anyone with problems like mine...or if you are in a job your on your feet a lot.I learned about them after my brother picked up 5 pair at Ross for pennies after the first versions were discontinued. He told me they were some of the most comfortable shoes he has ever had. I don't think he has benefited from any "toning or shaping" though. I also notice after a stay in the hospital there were quite a few male nurses that wore these shoes.

Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem rechten Zehengelenk - möglichst nicht nach oben belasten...
Da ich vor Jahren einmal eine unglaublich gute Sandale ( die es leider nicht mehr gibt )
von SKETCHERS gekauft habe mit der ich IMMER NOCH Kilometer endlos laufen kann habe ich nun
diese Schuhe erworben.
Die Schuhe sind gut verarbeitet und die Größe ist genau passend .

Leider gibt es einen gravierenden Mangel, denn die Sohlen sind an der Außenseite um ca 6,5 mm zu hoch,
so daß das Fußgelenk ständig nach innen gekippt wird - absolut unmöglich...
Da ich anfangs gehofft hatte die Sohle würde sich "einlaufen"; was sich aber nicht zeigte,
ist es nach dem Tragen problematisch mit einer Rücksendung...
das hätte ich direkt nach dem ersten Test machen sollen!
Schade den es wäre ein wirklich guter Schuh in Bezug auf Verarbeitung und Design.
Die Fotos zeigen meine Traumsandalen und den Schiefstand der neuen Schuhe ( ca 5° Neigung )

Dieser Schuh ist also keinesfalls zu empfehlen - wirklich schade.

Nachtrag 12.3.2017:
Obwohl der Lieferant eine Regelung zugesagt hatte gibt es bis heute keine weitere Reaktion -
Deshalb wird die Bewertung weiter herabgesetzt
