    I fully admit that I bought these blocks for my 7 month old baby girl because I wanted them! Although the price seems pretty steep, they are incredibly cool...with many unique shapes with so many building possibilities! I am a designer so that's probably why they appealed to me, with their unusual arty colour palate and architectural elements (columns and arches). The B. (Battat) company does a great job of making toys with beautiful bright colours that are still easy on the eyes...and look great even sitting out in the living room. Also they demonstrate a very appealing socially concious attitude, using recycled packaging, soy based inks, and even donating to a children's charity with each toy purchased. This toy came with an interesting little booklet of funny children's quotes...with a heading for each: B. Priceless, B. Observant, B. Wise, B. Experimental, B. Curious...etc. It was a nice added touch!Now back to the blocks: I'm sure that a toddler or young child would love to build creative structures with these blocks, but since my baby is still so young I can't confirm that...although I've had a lot of fun building little temple façades! But as a toy for a baby (who lets face it is very likely going to do nothing but chew on them for the next 6 months to a year!) they are also wonderful, since they are very safe with no phthalates and are BPA free. They have no weird smell like some rubber/plastic toys and they are squishy and squeaky. I can imagine that they will be nice to have lying around the house for the next few years...if you stepped on one it wouldn't hurt at all, unlike the traditional wood alphabet blocks!There is a block for each letter of the alphabet with a corresponding animal.     I am SO glad i purchased these for my son. They are truely the most amazing blocks. They are incredibily soft, beautiful and even make a tiny, soft squeak when squeezed. They are also great for a teething baby, my son loves to chew them! You can stack them in ANY way, the material allows them to stick very well any way you place them. I build many amazing things out of these all the time (i may have to buy my own set so my son doesnt have to share!) and my son loves ofcourse, knocking down what iv built. The colors are beautiful and the images on each one are amazing. I would buy these over and over and really recommend everyone buy these. This company makes great toys, i own ALOT of their products. The bag they come in also comes with instructions on how to get them back into the bag! CLEAR instructions, i may add lol I cant recommend these enough...I PROMISE you will NOT be disappointed in purchasing these. Out of all of his christmas toys, this is by far a favourite! Your child and you will love looking at the amazing images on each one, learning the animals and alphabet together and building amazing structures that would be IMPOSSIBLE with any other block set!

    Wow, wow and more wow. When I first saw these blocks on Amazon I thought they were small and looked past them to other blocks. I kept coming back to these because I love the shapes, colors and animals/letters on the blocks. I saw a photo of a little girl where she had made a tower out of them and then I realized how big they are! These blocks are really large, I'm not sure exactly how big the bag is, but it's quite large and somehow, these blocks easily fit back into that bag without a hassle. You just have to use a little common sense, but it also comes with instructions on how to get the blocks back into the bag. These blocks are washable, squeezable, and durable. You could play with them for years I'm sure and still have them looking brand new. The shapes and lettering on each block are top notch, you couldn't ask for better, the art work that was put into these blocks is 5 star and they are worth every penny!!!! My son loves to pull them out and can easily spend an hour just pulling them out of their bag, he's 9 months. They provide hours of fun for us and they are so portable! You can take a couple in your diaper bag or take the whole bag! I love these, there is no better block out there! They also squeak and have an airhole. It is not recommended that you immerse them in water because they could grow bacteria inside I'm sure.

    Fantasticly cool shapes & great educational tool for years to come. Great diaplay/array of animals & letters on blocks! 8 month old isnt too interested yet but I bought them for the long haul!

    Update: these really weren't that interesting to my child. We played with them a little bit but really she just chewed on them and that was the extent of her interest in them. She quickly moved on to hard wooden blocks which were more interesting and easier to stack. I am changing my review to four stars because we really didn't get much use out of them. I would have been better off just buying the wooden blocks. Although this is a very nice set. It just is not good for the Long Haul like I thought initially.

    Habe die Bausteine für meinen 5 Monate alten Sohn bestellt nachdem ich diese bei einer Freundin gesehen habe. Sie sind perfekt für Babys, da sie sich damit nicht weh tun können, sich auch von der Oberfläche her sehr angenehm und weich anfühlen und ganz einfach abgewaschen werden können. So kann Baby auch nach Herzenslust mal darauf rumkauen.

A mio avviso però non sono rifiniti molto bene, i bordi e le sporgenze sono un po' troppo irregolari, risulta difficile impilarne più di quattro o cinque alla volta perché sono molto instabili. Sono piacevoli da toccare e da mordicchiare per i più piccolini, però essendo "squeeze" hanno tutti un piccolo forellino, per tanto non si possono lavare né in lavatrice né in lavastoviglie perché altrimenti entrerebbe acqua che poi non si riuscirebbe più a togliere..
    La sacca che li contiene è fatta su misura, quindi per farceli stare tutti bisogna metterli via uno a uno ( c'è addirittura un foglietto che illustra l'ordine giusto), diciamo che non è molto comodo quando si sta riordinando, infatti io non la uso e li butto tutti in una cesta.
    Li ho comprati per mia figlia quando aveva 10 mesi, forse era ancora troppo piccola, ma anche adesso che ne ha 15 devo ammettere che non ne è particolarmente attratta.
    mi dispiace lasciare una recensione non molto positiva, perché comunque io lo trovo un gioco con molto potenziale, ma ho cercato di essere il più obiettiva possibile.
