I have been using the Van Der Hagen shaving soap pucks for a while. I have almost completely changed over to using it instead of canned shaving cream.
There is a light and pleasant scent to the soap.
My skin is smooth and not irritated after shaving.
The shaving soap lathers up good once I had the amount of water needed on the shaving brush figured out. At first I did not like the small amount of foam that was produced. I guess I was used to the canned shaving cream. But after a while, once I had the water figured out, it was good. I also squeeze the brush and get a nice bunch of foam that way to apply to the face
