An artist at the top of her game. She honed her Evolution Tour on the road before bringing it back to the frenzied home crowd and the enthusiasm flows into the performers. It is actually two CD's on one platter with a front and back. A friend scratched the original so I bought a replacement -- was worried that it would not hold up to the Blu Ray disks I have gotten used to. No worries -- when played though a PS3 onto a flat screen and a sound system there were no disappointments.

I like lively Salsa and when Gloria throws up her arms after some lovely ballads and shouts "Introspection time is over", you're in for a treat of amazing Gringo-styled Cuban American rhythms. If you can stay in your seat when some of the more energetic pieces start, put your fingers on your left wrist and see if you feel anything.

Her definitive album.
