I love Keens, and have worn their sandals and boots for many years. They always have fit my flat feet well, and offered years of durability.I bought these hiking sneakers specifically for my trip to NYC to have what I thought to be great walking shoes for the warmer weather.The pictures shown are literally after one day of walking around the city. Sole is torn and separating and the outer material is discolored and wearing off. I have never had shoes deteriorate in such a way, let alone after a single wearing. It is truly unacceptable, and this product should be recalled.In addition the ankle trimming is sharp and cuts into your heels causing blisters. Terrible.Now I am stuck for the weekend in NYC having no other shoes with me, and am forced to continue wearing them until I am back home and can attempt to return them.Hopefully Keen / Amazon will make this right, as for $150 shoes, I am more than disappointed!

This shoe is probably nicer than the two stars I am giving it, but I've been having a dickens of a time getting athletic shoes that don't curve into my arch too much. I not only have flat feet, but they are also rectangular-shaped, so when shoe companies are trying to shave a few ounces, they curve the shoe too much into the arch, so my foot is sitting on the vertical arch support.

I really like the KEEN NXIS shoe, which is much cheaper than this one. That's more for just hiking, but if you have flat feet, you'll probably like it.

Great shoes, light with great traction but they seep water between upper and the sole.
I'm not a fan of most Keen shoes because of their giant kiddie bumper design around the toe but these do not have that. They fit to your usual shoe size and have high volume for meaty arches.
Edit: Was offered immediate exchange and the new shoe's waterproof coating has stayed intact for over a month now. Also, KEEN let me know that the shoes can be warrantee exchanged with them for a year.

The quality of the manufacturing is also subpar, seven days after being received and worn a few times the synthetic upper part of the shoe is already damaged and coming apart. Keen is a good brand with very good quality shoes, but in this case these shoes were a miss rather than a hit. I was thinking about buying a second pair in orange and blue... I will not.
