I got these to patch holes in my kindergartener's pants. The patches come in a good variety of colors, so it would have been possible to match the navy blue pants almost exactly, though my kid chose to use bright, contrasting colors instead. They are easy to iron on and don't require any crafting/sewing talent (which is good, since I have none). I had no idea what a press cloth is, but I learned you can use an old pillowcase for that purpose. That's what I did, and it worked just fine.

The patches have stayed on perfectly through constant wear over 2.5 weeks, even though I didn't sew the edges on. I appreciated that the kit came with a needle and matching thread in case you're inclined to take that extra step.

All in all, I recommend these for fixing the inevitable holes that come in kids' pants!

I bought the patch to cover a very worn arm on a leather chair. One patch was large enough to cut the two shapes needed for the end of the arm, and they stuck well. This will undoubtedly prolong the life of the chair, though esthetically it's, well, it's a patch. I keep the arm covered with a fabric piece.
I'm very glad to have found this patch, and it does what I bought it for, but it has its limitations.
