The sole is like hard plastic

It felt good and was supportive, even though I'm 230lbs but if there is any water on the ground you will absolutely slip and fall. Whatever makes the hard sole work also makes it function like an ice skate when wet.

And it eventually cracked around the ball of my foot and the hard sole started wedging into my foot and left a bruise.

Interesting idea, but needs work.

I bought these as walking shoes when my heel started hurting. I thought my running shoes were not supportive enough. I've worn them on the treadmill a social event and on a damp boardwalk trail. May be more suitable for weight training or use on rubber floors.

Pros:

Laces stay tight and in place along top of the foot between usage

Cons:
- Hard Sole, like your walking on plastic
- Weight, feels like construction boots when carrying by hand.
- NOT SLIP RESISTANT - slipped 3 times at 2 to 3 mph walk on damp boardwalk. Slipped again when I stepped onto a tile floor after wiping my feet on an absorbent floor matt when I got inside.

Conclusion: Keeping these as fair weather outing shoes.

The toe box is thin and unless you have a small toe arch, the half size larger will be appreciated. Is super lightweight, fits well and I cannot wait to go running.
