I love this shade, it's a warm brick red perfect if you're a true autumn color season girl like me!!! the applicator works wonderfully as well
LONGEVITY
It lasts long enough if you don't eat exaggeratedly greasy foods, I attended a dinner party with this lipstick on and it lasted until I came home, I tried EVERYTHING on the menu, and still, the lipstick was intact, but of course, I did not eat chicharron or anything like that, lol
FEELING
It feels a little bit dry but not overly drying like some other matte lipsticks out there (yes Maybelline, I'm talking about you), also it does not feel heavy or leathery.

Great color and staying power
Nyx Lip Lingerie XXL might have a dumb name, but it fixes all the reasons I don't normally like wearing lipstick: the shape of the applicator makes it easy to apply precisely, the color was true to the pictures, and it does not smudge once it's dry, including on your teeth. I wore it for several hours and it looked completely untouched after drinking both water and carbonated drinks.This shade is a really nice cool red that doesn't look at all purple. It's perfect if you're a cool tone and looking for a classic bold red lip that won't make you look like a little kid that just ate spaghetti.

I saw someone bragging about this lipstick, so I looked at the different options on Amazon and picked this one. I like the color because I always have a hard time finding this muted pink Rosie color. I am 69 years old, so long lasting lipsticks can be tricky on an older lip. The color is beautiful. It’s a perfect, almost neutral color with real strong, cool tones. It can be worn day or night. The pictures above show when I first put it on and again six hours later I did have water to drink out of a Tumbler but I didn’t eat anything. I did eat after the second picture and most of the lipstick was still on. It does not transfer and it goes on very creamy. After a few minutes it is drying. I did put a little lip balm over it. If I was going out at night, I would probably put a lipgloss over it. I was very happy with the longevity and also the color. I actually looked today for another color at the drugstore. but they were all out of all the colors that I would like.

1. Shipping: I ordered this on March 8th and received it on March 12th with Prime shipping. It was shipped in a box with multiple orders. This is pretty quick, so that was nice.
2. Packaging: The lone lipstick was rolling around like a roller derby girl all by itself in the box with a shipping label on it. I thought this was trashy. No bubble wrap? No little bit of packaging? Just a shipping label I still can't manage to get completely off? Oh well.
3. Appearance: It is the PERFECT shade of black- not dark purple, not blue, not grey. The lipstick itself feels moisturizing and light on my lips, which can be a weak point for most matte liquid lipsticks. It's very opaque- the lipstick you see in my photos was applied with one coat. It blends out very easily for a softer look and will need to set for around 1 minute after applying (you can see in the swatch on my arm it still moves around for up to ~45 seconds). I love how this looks until...
4. Longevity: I wear it. In the photos and video clip, I did not eat or drink. All I did was talk, and it started having visible wear off. Here is why the rating is so low. It's a generous amount of lipstick but I don't have time to stop and continually fix my lipstick because I looked at it wrong when lipsticks like my Rimmel Stay Matte don't budge after eating hot wings and barbeque chips. Also, it takes forever to dry down, meaning that if you do ANYTHING- talk, think too loud, etc. when applying this lipstick it will smudge and stain your skin. It doesn't rub off colour onto any surfaces though- my clothes, someone else, my furniture. When it's dry, it's dry and doesn't transfer. It just... disappears. Where is it going? Who hexed my lipstick?
5. Value: You can see from the size of it compared to my hand it's a very generous size, bigger than all of my other liquid lipsticks. I paid $7.50, which is a very decent price, but I'd only buy it again if they reformulated it to not disappear off my lips and leave the unsightly remains of what was a gorgeous lipstick.
Overall, due to the poor packaging and the way it crumbles off my lips only 10 minutes after application, I give it 3 stars. I expected better from Nyx and will have to look elsewhere for my dream matte black liquid lipstick. I might have to raid the Halloween section at Wal-Mart again.
