Overall a very nice rack.For reference, this is my first Superclamp style rack and I'm switching from an old Saris hanging style rack. Getting four bikes onto a hanger was way too difficult.So first off, I'm taking away one star because I received a returned product. At first glance I couldn't tell as it was repackaged nicely, however upon unpacking I noticed that the parts were not sealed in bags as one would expect and I was also missing one of the two included keys. During assembly, I realized I was missing 3 of the little nuts that the tire baskets require to fasten then down. A quick run to the local hardware store fixed that issue, but it was quite an annoyance. The part that goes into the hitch was also obviously inserted before. I know it may not seem fair to deduct a star on the product due to the seller, but I believe it is part of the overall buying experience on Amazon.Onto the product itself:Assembly was fairly easy. I think if I had all necessary parts, it could be done in under 30 minutes.My bikes that I am loading are as follows:1) 27.5 x 2.8 Adult Mountain bike2) 26" Woom 63) 24" Woom 54) 20" Woom 4It took me a few tried to find the right fit. I ended up with the 26" closest to the car, then the 27.5, then the 20", finally the 24". Be sure to mind the stickers that tell you which side the front tire faces. No issues fitting the 2.8" wide tires in the baskets.One of the biggest issues I have is that I can't really securely fit the 24" and 20" together. I had to remove the left mounting arm so that I could place one of the tire baskets on the inside of the arm. They typically go on the outside of the arm i guess. But once I placed the basket inside of the arm, I was able to get the 20" to rest securely in the baskets. The problem is the arm that secures the top of the tire doesn't go down far enough to secure the 20" tire while securing the 24" tire. I think if I had two 20" bikes that were the same size, I might be able to angle the arm out enough so that it might hold. So, workaround is to just strap down the tires and use bungee cords to secure the 20". But given that it has the 24" on the outside, I don't see it coming loose.Once I had the bikes loaded, I tried lowering the rack so I could access the trunk. And let me say, wow, this thing gets heavy. There's definitely a technique to successfully lowering this thing. On my first try I injured myself a bit, so be careful. I would suggest holding the top fastening arms and not the bikes.Lifting it back up wasn't too bad once I figured out to hold the arms of the frame and not the bikes.I will say that having a mechanism that clicks into place once it reaches a certain level is very nice. It's not necessary to hold it up and insert a pin like my old rack.When the rack was in the lowered position, the trunk was easily accessed. There was plenty of clearance between the bikes and the trunk to open the trunk.Another minor annoyance was that one of the locks pulled completely out. There is a small catch that keeps the locking housing connected to the frame. Apparently they used a wrong side housing. I called Saris customer service and they said they would send me a new one in a few days. This must have slipped through QC.The locks that are included are nice, but as others have mentioned, would be nice if they were just 6 inches longer. Don't forget to lock the first two bikes once they are on because it's really hard to access the lock once the second set of bikes are on.The straps that hold down the tires are a little annoying. They tend to flap back so when you put the bike in, the tire goes on top of the strap. You then have to lift the bike again to get the strap out.Another issue I have is that I can't fold up the rack when it's empty. My hitch is 3.5 inches in from the bumper. If it were maybe an inch or two further out, it wouldn't be a problem.Overall I am happy with the rack. It's very sturdy and seems like it will hold firm. It is a chore to load and unload the bikes, but I don't think there's any way around that. It also takes up quite a bit of space in the garage.I'd give the product itself 5 stars, but again, minus one for receiving a returned item.I'll update the review once I take it out for a trip, but that's it for now.
