Kenwood's Performance Series delivers and goes a step beyond, providing articulate lows, clean vocals, and startling highs. With latest technology incorporated into these speakers, you'll get the biggest sonic bang for your buck.

Kenwood's KFC-P710PS 6-1/2" component system provides a rich, dynamic sound reinforced by a solid low end. This polypropylene woofer cone sports a Diamond Array pattern that increases surface strength for reduced distortion and improved bass response. A rubber surround provides reliable playback in spite of the prolonged exposure to the elements that life in your car doors brings.

A 1" soft dome tweeter rounds out this strong system, providing high-frequency details with accuracy. And Kenwood makes things a little easier by incorporating an in-line crossover network into each tweeter — no need to find a spot for a bulky crossover module.

Woofers

The 6-3/4" woofer cones are textured Polypropylene and use rubber surrounds for added durability and bass response. The woofer basket is designed to fit a standard 4-hole 6-3/4" application. The included adapter rings expand the woofers' compatibility to include the 3-hole 6-3/4" pattern used by GM and Chrysler, the standard 3-hole 6-1/2" pattern, and Ford's 4-hole 6-1/2" pattern.

Tweeter Mounting Options

The tweeters can be flush mounted using the supplied housings and metal retaining-clips. Once installed the tweeters can pivot in the housing, so their angles can be adjusted to obtain a better sound stage. The tweeters can also be top or bottom mounted in a factory tweeter location using the included brackets. The tweeters cannot pivot when installed in the OEM brackets.

These components exceeded my expectations. Ive always been an alpine guy but wanted to try these out because of the price and power handling. I setup my amp gains with an oscilloscope and I’m putting right at 60 watts rms to each channel. These 6.5” components sound AMAZING. I have the equalizer on my head unit set to all flat which is something I’ve NEVER done in the past and I’m telling you it does NOT need to be adjusted at all because these components sound so good. Highly recommended from a guy that’s been into car audio for almost 20 years!

Put these in a 2015 forester. They sound really really good with mini amp and blow the factory crap away. I was going to put a subwoofer in, but honestly these have enough bass that I do not have to. Crossovers are built into the tweets, but the are a little big, so be carfeful with giving yourself enough room if mounting in a hole the the dash. I am really impressed how these sound, you will be as well.

Put these in a old single cab truck and have a 120w rms amp to power them and just plug my phone into the amp for sound. They sound pretty good and seem to be happy running very loud. The truck is very loud from road/motor noise so I habe to push them to be able to hear the music. They still have good quality at the higher volumes and enough bass to keep me happy and punchy highs to keep up with the road noise.

Have been looking for a while for decent but well priced 6.5" component speakers to replace blown JBL GTO's...these have fit the bill very well. Good balanced output, fabric dome tweeters please my ears with high's without shrillness. Base output I've tuned back at the low end as my setup feeds a JBL sub as well, but the low end of these is quite respectable for the price. If you use a feature such as base boost on you amp, you may find them easy to overdrive though. YMMV I guess.
Arrived promptly, installed fine in my '08 RAV4 in spite of websites such as Crutchfield saying they won't fit the front doors (they fit fine, tweeters need some customization to mount behind stock grills though).
Very pleased overall for the price.

These component speakers went into the front doors on a 2002 Civic SIR, doors were rebuilt with sound deadening and ensolite liner, sealed, woofers were mounted on painted MDF and weatherproofed with deadener.
A 75x2 us audio usa 2075 powers them off a kenwood 500bt deck. The tweeters are perfect size for the civic factory locations in the sail panel with only a tiny trim of the factory pod and they snapped right in.
I love how the tweeter design allows adjustment for aiming, the woofers make good bass with the proper install, I cant add a sub as my wife prefers her hot hatch to have room for groceries and beach gear. Sub not required when you have rebuilt front doors and rear locations. They make nice mid bass to about 50hz , tight and punchy, mirrors shake with sub lows with reggae and no perceived abnormal bottoming of cones, tweeters sound nice, a little loud vs the woofers but a nudge on the tweeter gain flattens the curve. I Verified no clipping up to volume 30 on this deck and these sound awesome on 28 if ya like an in car concert! For the price they are an amazing value when given 75 watts or less , recommended as budget replacement speaker set for most deck power and small amp power.
