This "flushed" mount by Mount-It! is a good wall mount for computer monitors. I cannot speak for large HDTVs, but it was able to mount my 34" ultrawide monitor.1. Material - sturdy and rock solid2. Lacks precision - you will need a level tool to make sure that the mount is straight, vertically. If you do not use a level tool, it will be crooked. The lack of articulation won't allow you to straighten your monitor, horizontally.3. Hardware - the hardware included is sturdy and reliable. Due to setup, I was not able to mount it right on a stud. Even then, it held up just fine.4. Major flaw in design - it does not fit monitors with an enclosed housing. Please see photo. I was still able to screw it in, but the mount is sitting just on top of the frame of the monitor. Luckily, it did not cause damage to my monitor. If you have a newer monitor, it most likely does not have this type of housing.5. Flushed? - From the wall to the back of the monitor, the distance is exactly two inches. A desktop mount would be about 4-5 inches. This is a huge improvement if you are looking for a flushed mount.6. Articulation is limited - Do not expect to have plenty of articulation. It can tilt up and down.7. Tightening the tilt screws can be challenging. I have slightly above average sized hands and it struggled with tightening the tilt. Use a flathead screwdriver that is long to reach behind and tighten the screw on both sides.Overall, I am satisfied with Mount-It!'s wall mount for my computer monitor. It's a 34" ultrawide monitor that weighs about 15lbs. The mount feels extremely sturdy. Be sure to find a stud if you want the best mounting, probable. If you want the mount at a specific location on your wall, but you cannot find a stud, the anchor screws do an excellent job of holding up the mount well. I was not able to find a stud where I wanted my monitor, and it is holding up my 15lb monitor very well.The lack of precision of the mount itself could use improvements. It lacks range of motion so be aware what you are getting into. Most of the time spent installing it will be preparation. It will not be a 10-minute installation unless you are experienced in mounting monitors and TVs on the wall. I took me about 30 minutes to prepare and install it. Most of the time spent was leveling the mount so that my monitor would not be crooked. Due to the lack of articulation, you will need to level it perfectly, or else you will have many holes in your wall.This is why I gave it 3-stars. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars. Mount-It! did not take into account that some monitors have different mounting housing. Because my ultrawide monitor is an older LG model, it did not have a flat back. In fact, many monitors do not have a flat back. There is about a half an inch cut-in on the back of the monitor. Please see photo to see what I am trying to describe.With that said, I somehow was able to make it work. I dislike that the mount is sitting on top of the housing and not inside the square. If it were a new monitor, I would have no done so. I am thinking about buying a Gigabyte 34" ultrawide monitor, and I hope that this isn't a problem with that monitor which has a similar VESA backplate. For this reason, I need to give it 3-stars. Otherwise, I would have given it 4 to 5 stars.This mount seems to have a moderate return rate. Do not purchase the like-new, used ones. The difference of $4-5 is not worth it. I purchased a like-new, not damaged one and it was warped. It was missing hardware such as the anchor screws. Please buy it new.Hope my review was helpful. Thank you for reading.
