Pros:-For the price, it's a reasonable speaker/subwoofer set.-Looks fly as hell.-The LEDs really aren't bad.-Speedy automated customer service.-With a sound enhancement program like Sound Blaster Cinema 2 I'm getting more than I payed for in sound quality, the sound is crisp and the bass shakes the house, without the program I'd hate it. -This ain't a feckin' advertisement for SBC2 I'm just sayin' find an audio program if you want to get the most from these speakers.-Considering it is a cat's life mission to find the most uncomfortable place to sleep the kitties enjoyed the lumpy packaging.Cons:-Seriously, without an audio enhancer the sound is muddled and and the bass is underwhelming. -Again, not advertising a specific program, just find ya one you like.-The LEDs aren't nearly as bright as the photo.-First one died on me in 2 two months-3 year warranty is a jip.Life Story BelowWhile I'm no audiophile, for $50 this sound system seems like a steal. I've had these speakers hooked to my pc for a year now and have used them for everything from watching movies, to intense FPS gaming, and just turning them up to blast out jammin' beats as I clean.Now I I don't have a very large home so with my 'puter on the farthest side of my living room I wasn't surprised I could still hear the music from my closed bedroom that's roughly 30 feet away on the other side of my house. What did surprise me though was being able to feel the tremors of the bass shake the walls of my room with there being another room between mine and my living room setup.Good thing I ain't livin' in an apartment anymore. Neighbors would despise me.These aren't top of the line insane speakers by any stretch, honestly if I didn't fine tune the sound with the program that came with my MSI motherboard, Sound Blaster Cinema 2, the sound is muddled and the bass is underwhelming. But I do. So with that for an average user who spends 80 percent of their life in front of them and for the price, I would %100 buy them again. The only reason this isn't a four star review is because I have.You've heard the good, now heres the bad:I bought these in 06/16 and loved them but after only two months of normal use the right speaker crapped out outta nowhere. I wasn't even listening to anything intense, just that rapey Hamilton song 'You'll Be Back'. After wiggling around the wires and concluding it wasn't a me problem by plugging it into other devices I contacted the the manufactures it was under warranty by, Accessory Power.I received a cookie cutter troubleshooting response within hours and after sending another email that it wasn't a me thing they replied with a shipping label and a promise of sending a replacement once mine arrived there. Quick, reasonable, satisfying. Shit happens, no big deal.What sucked was having to pay the shipping which from here in Small-town, Tennessee to BigCity, California was about 60 bucks, which was more than I'd paid for the speakers.Now me being a mess of social anxiety who hadn't seen the sun in months, took the time to step into the unforgiving sunlight to ship this thing. I was too timid to tell the post office Santa Clause, "60 moneh? pff frick that noise, naw but thanks anyway fam, lol." So I shelled out the cash and shipped the bastard and about 3 1/2 weeks later I got my replacement on 09/20/16 which I've used to this day.Despite the quick response time of automated customer service the 3 year warranty deal left me less than satisfied, I wish I'd have just ordered another with Prime. Would've saved me a lot of time and money.
