Just a little bit short for a standard butter stick.
I kind of thought this would cut “standard” 1/2 tablespoon (US) butter pats and handle a “standard” stick of butter. It does neither. (Are US butter sticks a different size than Europe’s? I don’t know. Maybe that’s the issue.) I’ve learned to live with it. I just cut one pat off the stick before I use it so the butter won’t be mashed on the ends, and when I take two pats of butter, I know it’s just short of a full tablespoon. It’s still quicker than “eyeballing” the cutting lines every time I need butter for recipes. When you eat keto or lchf, you go through a TON of butter. 😍
