I was a huge fan of the first edition of this book, and I recommended it for years.

The 7th edition is just a sad memory of what was once a greta book. It is filled with ideas, tools, and techniques that are no longer relevant. Sometimes there is a brief note explaining that the information is out of date, but often there is not.

Peter Kent needs to throw away the book and start from scratch, or simply retire and let more current authors provide useful and actionable information for today's world.
